Eli — Voice & AI
Recording a note with Eli (voice)
Tap Eli, talk for 30–60 seconds in plain English, get a structured SOAP note back. No template required.
Eli is the voice-first AI note assistant. It listens to a short shorthand description of the visit and writes a clean SOAP note for you.
How to use it
- Tap the Eli button (the floating orb at the bottom-right of the workspace).
- Press and hold to record, or tap once to start a longer dictation.
- Speak in plain English — no SOAP structure required:
"Mid-30s patient, lower back stiffness for two weeks after lifting. Pain 4/10. Tender L4-L5. Did diversified adjustment, gave some core stretches, follow up in a week."
- Tap stop when finished.
- Eli returns a structured SOAP note with sections highlighted. Tap Insert into Note to send it to the main workspace, or Copy to grab it directly.
What Eli is good at
- Pulling out patient subjective (what they reported)
- Building objective findings from your shorthand
- Suggesting an assessment and plan phrasing
- Inferring CPT/ICD codes when you mention a procedure or diagnosis
What Eli isn't good at
- Don't include patient names or DOB — Eli is a documentation assistant, not a HIPAA-cleared scribe. Speak in clinical shorthand only.
- Don't ask Eli for medical advice — it's a transcription/structuring tool, not a clinical decision aid.
