Connecting IntakeQ

Paste your IntakeQ API key in Settings to enable one-click note delivery to a patient chart.

The IntakeQ integration drops finished notes directly into the right patient chart with one tap — no copy/paste needed.

Setup

  1. In IntakeQ, go to Settings → API → Generate API Key. Copy the key.
  2. In BentoBox, open Settings → Integrations → IntakeQ.
  3. Paste the key and tap Connect. You should see your IntakeQ practice name confirmed.
  4. (Optional) Set a default location if you have multi-location IntakeQ.

How to use it

  1. Generate a note as usual.
  2. On the Copy tab, you'll see a new button: Send to IntakeQ.
  3. Search for the patient by name, pick the visit, and tap Send. The note appears in their chart instantly.

Security

  • Your IntakeQ API key is stored encrypted, never shown after entry.
  • BentoBox never stores patient data — it only forwards the note you generated.
  • Disconnect anytime from Settings → Integrations → IntakeQ → Disconnect.

Coming soon

  • Jane integration
  • DrChrono integration
  • Direct EHR-side button (Chrome extension)

Note on ChiroTouch: ChiroTouch doesn't offer a public API for third-party note push, so a direct integration isn't on the roadmap. Rich-text copy from BentoBox pastes cleanly into the ChiroTouch cloud and desktop clients — that's the supported path.
