Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want BentoBox to genuinely save you time. If it's not the right fit, this policy explains how cancellations and refunds work.

1. Free trial

  • Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
  • You will not be charged during the trial period.
  • If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged at all.
  • If you do not cancel, your subscription automatically converts to a paid weekly subscription at the end of the trial.

2. Cancellation & required notice

  • You can cancel anytime from the Profile page → Manage Billing & Payment.
  • Cancellation requires at least 7 days' notice before your next renewal date. Because BentoBox bills weekly, this means: to avoid being charged for a given week, you must cancel before that billing period begins.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access to BentoBox until that date.
  • If you cancel less than 7 days before your renewal date, the charge for that upcoming week will still process and will not be refunded — but no further charges will occur after that week ends.
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation completes.
  • You can reactivate your subscription anytime from the same billing portal.

3. Refunds

BentoBox is billed weekly. Because billing periods are short and you can cancel anytime to stop future charges, we generally do not issue refunds for past billing periods.

We will, however, consider refunds in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges — billed twice for the same period.
  • Service outage — if BentoBox was unavailable for an extended period during your billing cycle and you were unable to use it.
  • Billing error — charged after a confirmed cancellation.
  • Unauthorized charges — charges you did not authorize.

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge.

4. How to request a refund

Email billing@bentoboxnotes.rocks with:

  • The email address on your account
  • The date and amount of the charge
  • The reason for your request

We respond to refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

5. Plan changes

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan anytime from the billing portal. Plan changes are prorated automatically by Stripe.

6. Account deletion

Cancelling your subscription does not delete your account. To request full account and data deletion, see the Privacy Policy.
